The village of Viscri ..a Transylvanian treasure. Viscri became known throughout Europe after Prince Charles bought a house here in 1996 and spoke in many interviews about the beauty of the Transylvanian village. Charles's village, as Viscri is now known, Viscri has was placed on the world map of traditional villages in the world, being in the UNESCO heritage. Circuit passes through Bunesti,Crit,Mesendorf and reaches back to Viscri.The route stretches for almost 40 kilometers:from Viscri to Bunesti you have about 8 km of paved road,with slopes for beginners. Further on,towards Crit,will walk on a landscaped path next to the forest just as smooth,accompanied by rows of seasonal cereals. Go for a pleasant hill walking experience, through remote places, nice landscapes, admiring high mountains.There are plenty of hiking routes in the area. Hiking routes can vary from very easy 2-3 hours walk to easy route, 3-5 hours.These routes can be decided with each individual group. Can be a walking over the high plateaus, using a cable car to the top of the mountain or through the small remote villages with nice houses and great landscapes. An easy walk may be in the forest culminating with exploration of the famous “7 ladders” canyon. To pass through you need to be able to climb almost vertical metal ladders. The day hike is in the nearby Piatra Mare Mountain where the forest keeps us a pleasant shade while we enjoy the fresh air and beautiful birds songs. Our experienced mountain guide will decide together with you the exact route - from forest / meadows / mountains / great views - to be suitable for your family level. Short transfer might be involved to the start of the route.

We invite you to a horse-drawn carriage ride in the village of Lazaresti and through the wild forests of the Volcano Land,near Lake Saint Anne.During the trip we will make a time travel (approx.16 km round trip) in the footsteps of wild boars and bears. We stop on the top of the mountain, where a charming view of the Ciuc basin awaits us. We will taste real mineral waters, we will see the tracks of animals, after which we will enjoy a traditional picnic in nature, with tastings of local products (brandy, bacon, cheese, etc.) On the way back we will visit the traditional Nyír bath,admiring the post-volcanic activity, which is still manifested today in the form of carbonated mineral waters, mud and healing gases. Duration 4-5 h Optional, we can go to a Wildlife Observatory (we go to the hide with an off-road vehicle or horse-drawn carriage, dependind of the weather). Bears can be observed and photographed in their natural habitat through a large, one-way glass.The hide is perfectly safe.

Once we arrive in Magura, we gonna start our tour, go through the narrow country roads, we will have the Piatra Craiului mountain range on our right side and the majestic Bucegi mountains on our left side. At around 8 AM your guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov and transfer to the starting point at Dambu Morii. Start hiking and after about 1 hour you will reach the Seven Ladders Canyon, carved by the Sipoaia stream in Jurassic limestone. You will go right through it on the special trail built with metal and consisting of seven ladders and multiple bridges. After exiting the canyon, you will continue your hike up to the Piatra Mare hut, at 1630 meters. After a short break, begin climbing to the peak, at 1844m. From the top, you will have fantastic views over Brasov area and the surrounding mountains: Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, Baiului, Postavaru, Ciucas. Depending on weather conditions and fitness level of the participants, you have several routes on the way down. One of them leads back to the hut where you can have a well deserved lunch. Continue down to base, get in the car and get back to your location in Brasov.
