The PRIVATE day tour will take you to visit the famous Bran "Dracula's" Castle then further to Rasnov Peasant Fortress and to the unique Peles Palace in Sinaia. Next stop is The Vlad Dracul House, the place where Vlad Dracul (the father of Vlad the Impaler) once lived and where Vlad the Impeller was born.The Weapens Collection and the Torture Room is housed at the foot of the Clock Tower and is the same room where prisoners were tortured during the Middle Ages. Consider a min. of 4-5h for a day hike extendable to 8-10h choosing private departure on a longer route. Prior to departure, the guide will talk with you about every option and will make appropriate decision for the route to follow Starting the hike from a high point, the nearby road passes at 1135m alt. We will hike towards the peak along the ridge line. A June hike reveals us slopes full of Rhododendron - a beautiful red flower. Near the peak, there are impressive rock formations that will delight our views. The Last ascent will be all the way up to the main Ciucas Peak, followed by a descent on the other side to Cabana Ciucas. A good stop for a refreshing drink before our return circuit hike.

This guided day hike brings you closer or into the heart of most beautiful mountains of the area. On each mountain there are a few available hiking routes for all levels from easy, medium to difficult hikes. Bucegi Natural Park - the mountain look almost inaccessible from all sides. There is a ~1000m almost vertical drop all around the mountain. Once you find your way up, through breathtaking valleys or by use of cable car from Busteni/Sinaia, and you are now above 2000m, the flat Plateau is the heart of Bucegi Mnt. It offers us easy walking from Cota 2000 to Babele or The Biddies, rock formations carved by nature. Nearby we take pictures with the well known "Sphynx" - and we find out that the inner energy of the mountain is searched by lots of hikers. Optional route can take us to Omu Peak 2505m and Hut located at the highest altitude in the country. A steep descent can be towards the other side of the mountain down to Bran Castle area, a a quieter route. Overnight routes available

Get to know Braşov Old Town on a 2-hour walking tour, with a guide.
