We are going to start cycling from low altitude at a small market from where we will have a magnificent view over Mount Fagaras and Balea Waterfall . After few kilometres we will get into the most interesting mountain highway builded in Romania in the years of comunism . The views displayed during the trip are amazing , the mountains that surround the way show their majestic peaks during the whole way . We will see in the way up , much closer to our eyes , the Balea Waterfall and after a while we will reach the top at altitude 2034 where a peasant market and the well known Balea Lake will be displayed . After visiting all the interesting touristic points a descent full of adrenaline back to the starting place will follow . Please be aware that during the winter the transportation to the lake is possible by cablecar only .

While you can visit Bran 365 days per year, the mountain road is only open a few months during the summer and autumn. During the Transfagarasan day trip we drive close to the altitude of 2050 meters above sea level. On the road we stop at the Balea Waterfall. Rising from its own ruin, the Marienburg Fortress rises imposingly at Feldioara, on the banks of the Olt, only 20 km from Brașov, on the road to Sighișoara. Its restoration, carried out in 2013-2017, saved the remains of the walls that had survived the last hundred years of abandonment and restored its appearance in the seventeenth century. The strategic position, with visibility over a large area, and the natural advantages have made this place attractive in prehistory. During the archeological researches, the plateau on which the fortress rises revealed vestiges of habitation from the earliest times - Neolithic, Bronze Age, Dacian and Roman period, but especially the Middle Ages.

Spend a memorable day trip from Brasov to Piatra Craiului, one of the most challenging massifs in Romania. We will travel to a traditional Romanian ranch and we will have a horseback ride adventure through fields, hills, and forests. Arriving in the village of Bran, you will be welcomed and served with a few glasses of red wine and palinca (brandy - traditional drink from Transylvania 50% alcohol) accompanied by some snacks and pretzels. You will socialize with other members of our group. Then, at night, in the Halloween atmosphere, the castle is visited, we will be greeted by the dreaded prince Vlad Tepes (aka Dracula), in the mysterious rooms of the castle you will meet princes and princesses who will serve Dracula this night. After visiting the castle, the real Halloween party begins in the castle garden, near the lake, in a big tent, with a DJ, exciting music, Halloween atmosphere and surprises that will entertain you until 04:00 in the morning. If you want to leave earlier than 04:00, we will organize other departures to Brasov. May-November .Meet your driver-guide at your hotel from Brasov in the late afternoon and set off by air-conditioned minivan or car ,and you will go by car for about 40 minutes in the forests around Brasov . As you travel, gain fascinating insights into the brown bears, hearing how they can grow to enormous sizes, with some males reaching up to 770 pounds (350 kgs). Learn about their lives in the wild, and how their sharp sense of smell is vital in ensuring their survival. We will meet with the Rangeer who will show us the rules that we have to respect in the habitat of the bears.Then we will walk about 20 minutes or with a jeep to the observatory . Here we will see the brown bears in their environment. We will photograph males, females with chickens and their interaction. We will definitely, 100%, see bears. After about two hours, we leave the observer, we will return to the van.You will be left in Brasov at your hotel.
