Nicknamed the "Whiskey" route because the route is popularized as somewhat difficult and more expensive than Marangu route. On an overall comparison of the routes to scale Kilimanjaro, this is one of the best routes to take, both in terms of acclimatization and cost. The Machame route is considered a difficult route, and is better suited for more adventurous trekkers and those with some hiking or backpacking experience. The Machame route is scenically beautiful and varied. However, due to its popularity there are increased numbers of trekkers, it loses some of its splendour. The Machame route approaches the summit from the southwest and descends using the Mweka route, rewarding climbers with views of the expansive Shira Plateau, an optional scramble up Lava Tower, a climb up the Great Barranco wall, and a traverse underneath Kilimanjaro’s southern ice field.

This is an active tour and it require high fitness level with aproximately 30 km loop where about the first half of that will be climbing and other park cruising at a relaxed pace. You will bike and explore the foothills of Mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro and learn the ways of Chagga tribesman who inhabit this sacred land. Through the banana and coffee farm in and out of local villages with regular stops on village shopping centers, a local school and market. Materuni Village, Waterfall, Coffee tour and Local food Your guide will explain all aspects of the Chagga homestead including the other crops that they grow aside from coffee. You will get to see how the coffee is produced- from picking the bean to roasting and then make a delicious organic cup of coffee yourself . Following your coffee tour you will then take a short hike (make sure to wear some sport or Mountain boot ,shoes as it can be muddy up there), passing through local villages to reach the waterfalls. Here you will have your picnic lunch box. Following lunch you will have the opportunity to take a dip in the refreshing (quite cold!) pools beneath the waterfalls. When you have had your fill of this beautiful place you can start walking back to where we will meet our driver and drive you back to your hotel

The Lemosho route is considered the most scenic trail on Kilimanjaro, granting panoramic views on various sides of the mountain. As one of the newer routes, Lemosho is a superb choice for your climb. It is our preferred route due to its ideal balance of low crowds, beautiful scenery, and a high summit success rate. The majority of our clients climb Kilimanjaro using the Lemosho route and their feedback on this route is excellent. We highly recommend the Lemosho route to our clients. The climb begins at Lemosho Gate at an altitude of 2360 meters, with a western approach. It then circles around Kilimanjaro to the south, passing through majestic rainforest, home to some of the region’s most unique wildlife. The route continues up to Shira Ridge; the mountain’s third summit.

Tarangire National Park is primarily famous for the abundance of age-old baobabs and big families of elephants gathering in the vicinity of the main water source – the Tarangire River. Besides baby elephants and their parents the Tarangire is home to zebras, giraffes, hyenas, wart-hogs, buffalos and many other predators and ungulates. The park will also be a treat for bird enthusiasts. More than 550 bird species abiding in the Tarangire National Park present ample opportunity for bird watching: brightly plumaged yellow necked spurfowls, white crowned shrikes and black necked weavers are among the most frequent sightings here. Vast rolling grasslands, thick acacia bush, baobab and palm trees featuring the unique Tarangire landscape will leave a lasting imprint on your memory.
