We will visit 2 beautiful wineries representative of the Bolgheri area (usually Chiappini and Grattamacco, alternatively Tenuta di Vaira and Le Novelire) and, after touching the vineyards and visiting the cellars, we will taste the wines produced in combination with local products. Between visits, a lunch based on typical local products in the heart of the beautiful village of Bolgheri (not included in the price). The tour begins south of Lucca, passing through the charming villages of Gattaiola and Meati and their enchanting country roads, and then following the Serchio River along the Parco Fluviale. Here we'll be able to bike in relax on the 11 km of gravel roads only open to pedestrians and bicycle riders, enjoying the diverse ecosystem of the Serchio river. We’ll then finally loop back through scenic country lanes and olive groves hills before returning to our shop. Prepare the canteen, sunglasses and camera: this will be a day to remember. Our bike tours can be experienced on both a trekking bike or an e-bike. The trekking bike option is recommended only to experienced and trained riders. We will tell you a lot of stories, showing you hidden corners of this area, accessible only by water. On the half way we will stop for a snack, fruits and dry fruit, water. All along the trip you'll be paddling slightly pushed by the river, watching fishes and birds. Along the banks of the river natural areas we will find small villages, an ancient Roman aqueduct, ancient and newer bridges, some villas and castles. The 10 km paddling downstream are easy for anyone, beginners or expert, the river from Lucca will bring you slowly crossing the villages of Ponte San Pietro, Santa Maria a Colle, Nozzano Castello, until the old destroyed castle of Ripafratta with a small but beautiful waterfall.

We offer a shuttle service that will take you to Lucca, the starting point of the e-bike tour. After a brief introduction by our local guide Pietro, we'll explore Lucca, visiting the famous "Piazza dell'Anfiteatro" and cycling along the ancient city walls. For lunch, enjoy a refined picnic in the peaceful San Rossore Park, home to deer. Afterward, we'll cycle to Pisa, reaching the Leaning Tower in Piazza dei Miracoli. Our guide will take you through this architectural marvel and other highlights of Pisa. If booked in advance, you can also visit the Tower and Church. The tour concludes with a shuttle back to your accommodation in Florence.
