KILIMANJARO GENERAL MOUNT KILIMANJARO is a very special mount It’s the highest singular mountain in the world. That’s means it has the greatest ascent from its base to its summit. It’s easiest to climb of the seven summit, interestingly the 1950 version of the seven summits also two more Holy Mountains Mt. KILIMANJARO does not require any skills but instead a lot of walking, just over 40 miles and an ascent of about 13000 feet, spread over 6 days ascending and an ascent 2 days descending. Despite the small size of the park, common animals include giraffe, buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingos and more. African elephants and leopards are present, but rarely seen. The park is at the base of Mount Meru, which is good for climbing. Birdlife in the forest is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here. Though very accessible, Arusha NP isn't on many safari itineraries. This is mainly because it doesn't offer a chance of seeing the Big 5. It has a range of habitats including forest – home to the black-and-white colobus monkey – and is excellent for birding.

The park main gate is 25km north east of Arusha city. It is also 58 km from Moshi Town. The park is small(542 sq kilometers) but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River; the peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim. Ngurudoto Crater in the south-east is grassland The shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the north-east have varying algael colours and are known for their wading birds. The park is very small in size but rich in varieties of wildlife which provide a good game-sighting as in normal Parks in Northern circuit. Here in our peaceful farm on the outskirts of Arusha, you will experience the entire local process of planting, harvesting, grinding, roasting and tasting your own coffee, using local handpowered methods. On our walk around the farm, we'll show you some traditional Tanzanian medicinal plants and tell you the fun stories of how they are used.
