Guests are offered a meet & greet service by our professional guides, at all the airports and accommodation establishments. Home to many species of snakes, at Kinyonga guests will also see other reptiles, numerous amphibians and arachnids, many species of which are endangered. After lunch guests board their boat on the Blydepoort Dam for a view of the mountains from the bottom of the Canyon. The 1.5 hour excursion in spectacular surroundings is not to be missed!! Game on the riverbanks is viewed from the boat, and the occasional hippo or crocodile may come past for a closer look at the visitors!

When you book a Afternoon Private Safari it’s exactly that - Private with only you, your family and/or friends on the vehicle! This is the ideal way for families with young children to enjoy a safari in the Kruger Park! This is the time when the nocturnal animals begin to stir. After about 2 hours of game viewing, you will stop at one of the camps for a quick break. After the break, you will continue with the game drive and return to Hazyview. Afternoon safaris are approx 5 hours including transfer and gate time, and a short refreshment stop. Collection times for afternoon safaris are between 1:00 – 2:00 pm (season dependent) and you will return at about 6:00 pm after the safari. This private safari is suitable for families with children under 6yrs.

They start grazing and move to the water holes before the heat of the day drives them to shelter in the shade of the bush and trees. This safari is approx 6 hours, including transfer and gate time as well as an approx 1-hour breakfast stop at one of the camps. Collection times for morning safaris are between 5:00 – 5:30 am (season dependent) and you will return at about 11:00 am after the safari.
