General description: Tsetsee Gun is the highest peak of Bogd Khan Mountain which became a National Park in the 18th century and recognized as the first one in the world. It is now designated as the strictly protected area of Bogd Khaan Mountain. UNESCO has also proposed that 65,000 of hectares be reserved as a wildlife park. Itinerary: 8 AM - Depart from UB towards the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. 9 AM - Arrive at the Chinggis Khaan Statue. Spend about a hour exploring the Statue Complex Building and the museum as well as climbing statue for panoramic view. 11 AM: Enjoy Terelj National Park and visit Turtle Rock. Arrive at the park, where you can enjoy the stunning landscape and see unique rock formations. Turtle Rock is our last stop of Terelj National Park. 1 PM: Zaisan sightseeing. Go back to the city and visit Zaisan Memorial that honors allied Mongolian and Soviet soldiers killed in World War II.
