The Diversity of the Gobi Desert Gobi – the name evokes images of vast expanses of sand dunes, red colored sediments rich in dinosaur fossils, camel riders and heat reflections above the desert landscape. Terelj National Park is a great place to visit because it is only a short ride away from Ulaanbaatar where you could enjoy the natural scenery with open fields, gorgeous mountains and much more. On this tour, you will be taken on a horse or camel ride, meet a nomadic family and visit the tallest statue in the world and monastery. Also visit the most amazing Manzushir Monastery: Lies on the southern part of the Bogd Khan Mountain, at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level.
