The tours take place in the community of San Miguel Escobar in the outskirts of Antigua (20 or 30 minutes) where the coffee growers will lead you through their fields, explain the work behind cultivating coffee, walk you through each processing step from bean to brew, and finish the tour by joining you for a coffee in their home. Our shared tourist shuttle transportation will bring you between Antigua, Guatemala OR Panajachel (Lake Atitlan) and Chichicastenango. The trip can be approximately 3 hours between Antigua and Chichicastenango, or a bit over 1 hour from Panajachel. We will drop you at your accommodation location , and transport you to/from a meeting point in Chichicastenango (Hotel Santo Tomas). What you will learn? Go up to Cerro La Cruz for a Maya altar with artificial objects, it will give you a wide understanding about the Mayan worldview and how they are related with our culture and identity, play some traditional music, dance, etc. Learn about the history of the city and the Mayan civilization of the highlands of Guatemala before Spanish arrived. In our way down we will stop to La Candelaria Church to analyze the construction and the elements in the front face of the monument, visit Las Capuchinas Church (entrance Q40 not included), then visit Santa Catalina Arch, NIM POT, and finish our at La Merced.

This is one of two tours we offer made specially for our guests who don't want to drive our ATVS.This tour is done on our 6 passenger UTVs driven by our guides so the guests can enjoy in comfort, take pictures and enjoy the ride without worrying about the driving. In this tour we visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby town of Jocotenango. Starting from our office, we have a 15-minute journey to La Azotea coffee plantation. Once at La Azotea, you'll receive a bilingual tour from our guide, where you'll learn about the coffee and chocolate making process while indulging in fine coffee and chocolate tastings.Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antigua’s most well-known and visited landmarks. Since we are on bikes getting here is easier than taking the hundreds of steps and we enjoy a bird’s eye view of the colonial city.
