The workshop is made to be fun and interactive. We want people to enjoy learning about guatemalan culture and the history of cacao. The chocolate is high quality and natural. We only use cacao, cacao butter and sugar. We also have a cafeteria where you can enjoy traditional food while you wait for your chocolate to freeze. Our local guide will give you tons of great information, including the history of the city and its architecture, the geography, culture, and religion of historical and modern day Guatemala. During the tour we will visit and discuss Antigua's significant landmarks. The trip can be approximately 3 hours between Antigua and Chichicastenango, or a bit over 1 hour from Panajachel. We will drop you at your accommodation location , and transport you to/from a meeting point in Chichicastenango (Hotel Santo Tomas).
