The bus departs around 09:00 from Rethymno for the drive to Crete’s capital city of Chania, the most beautiful town on the island. Settled more than 4,000 years ago, Chania is one of the oldest cities in Europe.On this full-day excursion you’ll have 5 hours to explore Chania, with plenty of free time for a romantic walk through the idyllic old town.Visit historic neighborhoods, churches and museums and take a walk to the beautiful Venetian Port for shopping, a cup Greek coffee and lunch (not included in the tour price).At around 16:00 the bus will depart for the return trip Rethymno.

The water is generally quite shallow and safe for children. .For a most conferrable journey to/from Rethymno we make some stops.Agia Sophia Cave is a place of archaeological, geological and historical interest. The small church of Agia Sophia lays at the entrance to the cave that contains many rows of massive stalactites and stalagmites. This is a private tour with a 7-seater van (price for 6 persons). Chania's Old Town is being inhabited since the ancient times. It has always been a place of prosperity and growth, influenced by the various invaders and the different cultures which shaped the modern city of Chania. Our guides are fluent in English, locals and love sharing knowledge. We will drive around the city for 2 hours and visit various sites, then will drop you off at Chania old town to spend 2 hours to wander around the picturesque alleys and have lunch. Will explain the culture and traditions and how they formed the modern day city of Chania. We are not allowed to walk or guide in the old town due to license restrictions. You could extend the tour without extra cost and visit either the archaeology museum, do wine tasting or just spend more time in Chania old town. Travelers can optionally extend the tour for 3 hours and either drive in the mountains or to a beach and have lunch for an extra cost.

Imbros gorge is located south of Lefka Ori mountains and take around 3 hours to cross. The hike starts from Imbros village. We will drop you off at the entrance, then pick you up at the end. Our driver will not hike with you. Its around 2 hours driving each way. Most of the hike is in the shade with a narrow trail that cannot be lost. It's good to have a sufficient supply of water and hat. Imbros gorge is a small version of Samaria gorge. The scenery is breathtaking, ideal for nature lovers and wildlife watchers. We believe its the best hike for children from 10 years old and half the size of demanding Samaria gorge. After Imbros we could visit Frangokastello beach or do a wine or olive oil tour/tasting for an hour. You can choose one option. Tastings and lunch are around 20 euro per person each and paid separately. November to March no tastings.
