Bijagua is a unique town in a privileged location. We have access for this tour limited to a certain number of people per day so as not to affect the natural habitat of the animals. The tour is personalized to each group depending on the time you have. Each guide on this tour is trained to offer you the most accurate information about the biodiversity of Spring Paradise Bijagua. You decide what time to leave: 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:30 pm or 2:00 pm

The tour begins with an introduction to the adventure park and a brief lesson on how to zipline through the canopy. After the safety briefing, you will board a Jungle Bus that takes you to the top, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the tropical canopy, La Fortuna waterfall, Pino Blanco waterfall, and Arenal Volcano. There is a 15-minute hike accompanied by a highly trained guide. The guide will explain the significance of the area and help you spot any wildlife along the way. Upon arriving at the ziplines, you will first complete three shorter cables to familiarize yourself with the equipment and the sensation of ziplining. There are a total of 12 ziplines, extending over 3.5 kilometers. The longest cable measures 980 meters and spans the famous La Fortuna Waterfall, and two additional cables cross over the Pino Blanco Waterfall. The remaining ziplines take you through the lush layers of the tropical canopy above the La Fortuna River below.

 Discover one of the hidden mysteries of Costa Rica tucked next to the TENORIO´S VOLCANO. Here we will hike through the beautiful rainforest. Along the way, we will visit the BLUE LAGOON and LOS TEÑIDEROS, a place where two streams with different minerals and chemical composition meet and change color to a heavenly turquoise blue. Our adventure begins at the private farm La Naciente, just minutes from La Fortuna downtown. Here, we’ll set off on muddy trails through the primary rainforest, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the majestic Arenal Volcano. We start with a safety briefing and a practice circuit to get comfortable with the ATVs. Then, we head out onto the crazy trails of La Naciente, driving through challenging paths surrounded by lush vegetation and local wildlife. Along the way, we stop at Quebrada Platanillo, a micro-basin of the Arenal River that supplies water to nearby communities. This is also where we can spot the impressive Watusi bulls, famous for their distinctive horns. From there, we continue along open trails, crossing natural puddles, until we reach the Rancho La Poza for a snack and some relaxation in its outdoor pool.

This activity will lead to our Sloth Park to start, we will walk trough the rainforest 1.5 to 2 hours inside the trails and you can get to see two and three toes sloths and some poisonous frogs and snakes even birds. Done with the hike we will visit the second section of the the park to get your amazing chocolate coffee and sugar tasting along all the information provided in by our tour guides. Very instructive and educative tour!!

We start visiting the hanging bridges of Mistico park. The guide is with you to help you learn about the ecosystem. Hiking over the bridges and trails you enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding forest, Arenal volcano and lake. From here we take a short drive to the park that's right at the foot of the volcano. We hike a trail through the big lava rocks from the '68 eruption Here we reach a viewpoint with amazing views of the Arenal volcano, the surrounding lava fields and the Northern valley. We then stop at a restaurant where they serve a wide variety of local-style dishes. Now it's time to get wet. A 20minuts hike through a jungle staircase takes you into a deep canyon to the immense la Fortuna waterfall. You can swim in the refreshing pool of the waterfall and hang around on the big rocks to relax for a while. Having experienced all of this you can choose if you want to join us on a visit to a small hot springs resort. To add to the fun we pour some typical style cocktails.

This Sunset tour allows visitors to discover the hidden world and wildlife of the lush rainforest, and the picturesque volcano, which is dyed in the colors of the sunset, hanging of the most spectacular bridges of Costa Rica. Accompanied by a naturalist guide, you will hike a paved trail of 3.2 km, with a total of six hanging bridges.

North Fields Cafe offers a two hour local family owned experience in Costa Rica, located close to Arenal Volcano area and its hot springs

On this 6hour nature adventure you will see all the stunning beauty of the Arenal area. It doesn't come easy though. Narrow jungle trails and huge lava rocks need to be conquered. The reward is definitely worth the effort. Getting out of the jungle you reach the lava rocks right at the foot of the volcano. With the impressive Arenal looming over you, you realy get an idea of the immensity of this now silent giant. Making our way down your bilingual guide tells about the eco system and the wildlife we may encounter. Reaching the bottom part of the trek a emerald green clean water lake awaits us. You can jump in with a Tarzan swing and take time for a refreshing swim in this magnificently beautiful place. After this break we have a typical style lunch. To finish our experience we go to a small resort where we relax in natural hot water pools for about an hour.

In this place you will find four pools that vary in temperature from 99° Fahrenheit to 105° (37° to 41° C). These warm waters have an invigorating and calming effect. One of the pools has an artificial waterfall. All pools are surrounded by the bright colors and vegetation of the Arenal rainforest. Eco Termales is a family owned and operated natural hot spring. They allow a limited number of guests each day so visitors can get the most out of their visit to the springs. It's easy to spend the day here: Eco Termales offers poolside snacks and delicious meals. Eco Termales prepares fresh and tasty Creole cuisine for its guests. Meals here are served buffet style. You can choose between two hot entrees and then help yourself to ingredients for salads, fruit, the soup of the day and a selection of Costa Rican desserts.
