A unique way to experience Costa Rica's natural beauty and wildlife. Slowly floating down the Peñas Blancas River in a raft. The drive to the Peñas Blancas river is only 20 minutes. The float takes about two hours with a small fruit break half way down. When we get back to La Fortuna, we provide a typical organic Costa Rican lunch. We make you homemade coffee and take you for a small walk up behind the restaurant, to show you how we grow organic. We finish with a sugarcane demonstration where you get to take the pure sugarcane juice.
With the view of the majestic Arenal Volcano, enjoy the sweetest rainforest experience, discovering the ancient secrets of chocolate: from its discovery and use, in tropical America, to the processing of the product we know and enjoy today. A hands on program, that lets you eat all the chocolate you want. Enjoy this journey through the history, culture, traditions and the flavor.
At nightfall, join us to discover the delicious world of chocolate where we will learn the whole process from the seed to the delicious Chocolate bar, once the explanation is finished we will select some members of the group to grind the Cocoa to make your own chocolate bar. Once finished you will have the opportunity to taste several types of chocolate such as Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate.
Once this sweet adventure is over, we will tour our farm to enter the extraordinary nightlife where we can see some species of frogs and toads such as the Giant Toad, the big chicken eater frog, the small “Jewels of the Forest” like the Hourglass Frog and the most emblematic of Costa Rica, the Red-Eyed Frog.
With luck during the tour, we can see some species of insects, mammals such as the sloth, raccoons and sometimes nocturnal birds.
Get pumped for a challenging descent into a lush rainforest canyon that will stimulate your adrenal glands to the max. We are the only rafting company that offers the opportunity to run this exhilarating and scenic stretch.
Afterwards, we will proceed to the river, a stretch that is considered one of the most technically challenging commercially run rapids in Costa Rica.
You will be accompanied by expert river guides and safety kayakers. There will be two breaks from the heart pounding rapids to refuel. The first stop will be along the river, where we will enjoy some fresh fruit. The second stop will be for an authentic Costa Rican lunch, you’ll also learn about the growing, harvesting, production of chocolate, medical plants, fruits and sugar cane.
Unique Caño Negro is one of the most amazing trips for incredible birdwatching in Costa Rica.
Our tour starts in La Fortuna at 7:30 am. On the way to Caño Negro you will have the opportunity to learn about numerous agricultural plantations of Costa Rica such as yucca, papaya, pineapple, sugar cane and oranges.
Then we will arrive at the "El Caiman" restaurant, where we will enjoy a welcome drink and snack, before the boat tour on the "Rio Frio" river.

We will go on our Rainforest Limo to the Arenal River to star our activity.
After 5 minutes walk through the forest we arrive to the Maleku Village at the botton of the Arenal River. Natives will perform a 10 minutes introduction to their culture, medice and traditions. After, we will take to tubs and hike 10 minutes till get to the river, where we will enjoy the tubing adventure and have a short briefing about security. After a short walk, we arrive at the foot of the river, where the tubing starts.
Then everyone gets his proper rafting “tube” to make the adrenaline in your body seek its way out, while you have to navigate through Arenal River crystal clear rapids. Afterwards we go to the changing rooms and get back to Go Adventure base to continue with your next adventure.
