This tour combines a walk along Arenal’s hanging bridges and a visit to the La Fortuna Waterfall. It offers travelers exposure to some of Arenal’s best attractions. Starts at 7:20 am you’ll be picked up from your hotel and head towards the Hanging Bridges. These bridges are set within one of the most important reserves in the area. The reserve has trails that run through the heart of the rainforest, as well as treetop suspension bridges. The suspension bridges extend through the forest canopy and give you the chance to see the forest from a different perspective. As you walk along the bridges, be on the lookout for birds, monkeys, and other animals. La Fortuna Waterfall is representative of the Arenal area and is absolutely stunning. The 195-foot fall creates a natural fresh-water pool, which is perfect for travelers who are up for swimming. The waterfall is surrounded by lush rainforest and is extremely scenic. Soak up the scenery on your way up to this powerful 65 meter La Fortuna waterfall plummeting into dense jungle and sparkling pools. As we make our way we will keep an eye out for toucans, iguanas, parakeets and sloths. Dismountings the horses we take a 15 minute hike down the waterfall crossing a Hanging Bridge getting a birds eye view of the canopy . At the waterfall base you can take a quick swim and enjoy the refreshing cool pools. Returning through the jungle we will stop at the Maleku Indigenous Village before returning back to base by horseback. Note:When you visit the Waterfall you will have to climb five hundred stairs down and then back up.

The most famous attraction in La Fortuna - Arenal Mistico Hanging Bridges. We will start by picking up at your Hotel and then drive for about 20 and 40 minutes to the hanging bridges where we will take a tour of approximately 2 to 2:30 hours through the wonderful tropical rainforest where we will walk for around 3.2 km and pass 16 bridges (10 stable and 6 Pendants) with incredible views. In addition to the impressive views, we will have the opportunity to see various species of flora and fauna such as snakes, sloths, leaf-cutting ants, poisonous frogs, lizards, birds, monkeys, coaties, among others. Our naturalist guides will accompany you carrying their telescope to capture incredible images and videos of the animals, as well as the most interesting information about each of them. Once the tour is finished we would be returning to your Hotels where it could take between 20 and 40 minutes.
