Begin with a drive up Oak Creek Canyon, named one of the top most scenic highways in the country on the way to the South entrance of the Grand Canyon. We stop at a quaint store in the canyon and replenish our coffees and snacks then we travel 17 miles into beautiful Oak Creek Canyon to the overlook. Up there we might find some local Native American traders and excellent picture taking amongst the beautiful Ponderosa Pine of Northern Arizona. Next we stop at the famed Garlands Jewelry store. Your guide will point out interesting areas and answer questions on any subject about Sedona i.e., dining, hiking, Native American history and Sedona’s unique heritage etc. then back to Sedona on a beautiful winding mountain road to another Native Market. Then back to the red rock scenic byway and the chapel of the holy cross.we may reverse the route to avoid traffic on busy days.
