The experience involves moving a long journey on foot in search for endangered mountain gorillas. Mountain gorilla trekking is mostly done in thick forests where you are guided by a trained ranger. Trekking might take a maximum of 8 hours but can even be 30 minutes depending on the location of the gorilla family.. On the day of trekking, wake up as early as 6:30am for breakfast at and proceed for briefing until 8.00am. Start the trek with simple forest hikes through designated trails, but may later become strenuous depending on the weather and how far the gorillas have moved, but the epic one hour encounter with a habituated family is truly refreshing. This 3 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will bring you face to face with the massive giants of Bwindi – the mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda covering an area of 321 km2 and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The forest lies at an altitude between 1160 m -2607 m above sea level and is famous for being home to over 450 mountain gorillas.

A nature walk with a ranger to visit the white rhinos in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Rhinos live in small groups in this sanctuary making it safe for visitors to see them. Following the ranger's instruction about safety while there will make this experience a memorable one. There is no hiking in this exercise. It is just a simple walk coupled with explanations from rangers. It is the only place in Uganda where one can see these animals in the wild on foot.
