The climb begins at Londorossi Gate at an altitude of 2360 metres, with an approach far to the west of the mountain. It then circles around Kilimanjaro to the south, passing through majestic rainforest where some of the region’s most unique wildlife can often be seen. Get a test of Kilimanjaro trek, even if you don't have time, one day will take you to the first heart while enjoying the environment and keeping yourself fit-preparing for more time to come back and do the whole Mountain trekking. You will need 3 hours to trek to the first hut (Mandara Hut) and 2 hours back. If you are fast walker you can reach to Maundi crater and enjoy the nice views.

Marangu Route 5 Days – Marangu Route is also known as the “Coca Cola” or “tourist” route. It is the easiest and shortest route to the summit. This is also the only route with the comforts of sleeping huts at every campsite with solar lights and comfortable beds. The huts are communal, and the bunks have a sponge mattress and pillow. This route is usually done in 5 days but can be done in 6 days for better acclimatization. The extra day can be spent resting at Horombo or climbing the small peak of Mawenzi.
