The Botanical Garden & Ethnographic Park Pirámides de Güímar, nominated for the 2017 European Museum of the Year Award, is a large open-air museum that gathers several open-air routes and specialized gardens around six pyramidal structures oriented towards the sun on key astronomical dates. The facilities of the Ethnographic Park, which covers more than 64,000m2, include the Casa Chacona Museum, the Auditorium and four outdoor routes (the Botanical Route, the Exportations Route, the Cultural Route and the Volcanic Route). Discover also the the Sustainable Garden, an attractive space that reproduces throughout 1,000m2 a typical Canarian ravine, with flowing water and the characteristic plant species found in these environments. Also, specimens of the European eel have been introduced, since it is the only freshwater fish present in the islands. Various ethnographic exhibitions, large gardens, pic nic areas, children playground, cafeteria and shop complement the services.

We will focus on astronomy from beginning to end, starting with an explanation by professional astronomers with a screen and laser of telescopes and the sky of stars, a specialized astropotographer will take photos in real time with a robotic telescope of various celestial objects. I have been practicing this sport for 20 years and for 10 years I have been a qualified surf instructor, in this class you will learn everything you need to go to the water and manage to surf your first wave in a safe and fun way.
