The place was inaugurated as a museum, Ceausescu couple were arrested here between December 22 and 25, 1989. You can visit the cell where the two spent their last days of life. They were tried and sentenced to death on December 25th in the same building. The sentence was enforced 5 minutes after the trial was completed in the inner courtyard of the building.
