We'll take it easy, young and old will be able to keep it up. There is a speed trap somewhere along the waterway, I'll challenge the restless among you to have a go! There's no need to fear to get a wet suit, but of course you cannot prevent some splashing drops your fancy shoes. Don't wear your best shoes & pants, don't bring laptops and other things that don't particularly like water. There will be dry bags to put some things, but better safe then sorry. The ending point is a small swim spot for locals, feel free to hang out after our tour!

Along the way you will learn about the people hiding with Anne in the annex, the helpers, we look at who could have betrayed them, we learn about Dutch resistance fighters and collaborators, of acts of courage and cowardice, and we will look at the events from a German perspective. Ultimately we will ask ourselves the question: Could this happen again in our time? Day one will take place in Amsterdam and we will be able to walk and take public transport if needed. On day 2 we will be driving with a private car to Westerbork, picking you up and dropping you off at your hotel.
