A pedicab tour is a very unique service that allows you to see a lot of highlights in a very short time. In just a couple of hours we can cover an area that would likely take multiple days with a walking guide. It doesn't mean we will rush past the different sights though. We will make plenty of stops and I love to go in depth on topics that have played a significant part in the history of the city as well as those relevant today. My tours are focused on the history of Amsterdam from the very beginning, through the centuries till present day. Not only will i talk about the sights we can still see nowadays, but also about those that disappeared but played a significant role in the history of the city, like for example parts of the jewish neighberhood. Being a native-born local, I can share also the changes I have personally witnessed in the last 4 decades and put everything into a bigger perspective. This tour is only available from March 20, 2025 till May 11, 2025 Following pickup from your accommodation, take part in a short meet and greet with your driver before starting your journey to the Keukenhof. The Keukenhof is a flower park in Lisse, 45 minutes from Amsterdam. The park has an area of 32 hectares, and attracts more then 1 million people each year with its millions of flowers. Beside the flowers, the Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers with a new flower each week. Some examples of these themes are roses, orchids, and chrysanthemums. Whilst at the site it is also possible to take a boat trip, which sees you sailing between the 'bollenvelden' (bulb fields). These boat trips are referred to as 'fluistertochten' (whisper trips), due to the boat's electric motors. At the conclusion of your day out with the flowers, your driver returns you back to Amsterdam.
