Dwarika's Hotel was registered in 1977, with the idea of reviving the architectural splendour of the valley. All the terracotta work was made in the valley, using local clay and skills. The couple also incorporated elements of Nepal's diverse cultural heritage, including those from beyond the valley, when designing the rooms. The furniture was crafted by families of traditional carpenters, and the linen, textiles and embroideries were hand woven and used Nepali patterns. In all purposes, Dwarika Das Shrestha took some of the finest elements of Nepali crafts, and presented them in a way that had not been done before. In explaining his vision, he once stated: "My project is to recreate a 15th-17th century environment where tourist and Nepali alike would have a sensation of the original. The hotel as a commercial enterprise is merely a vehicle to finance and carry my dream forward."

Considered one of the best treks in Nepal, the circular trek around Manaslu is a less busy alternative to the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek. Hiking from the steamy terrace fields of rice in the lowlands to the snowbound Larkya La Pass near the Tibetan border is a physically challenging trek. Being remote, rich in local culture, and stunning scenery, we think it’s worth it. Some of the highlights include the Budi Gandaki River gorge, where icy turquoise water flows over waterfalls and under suspension bridges. And the 5,167m Larkya La pass, where crampons may be needed. From the pass, stupendous views lay behind and ahead – including a great glacial cirque and Annapurna II towering above other mountains. This remote area still has a pioneering expedition feel, much different from the more trekked routes. If you like more isolation and less trekkers on the trail, inexplicable natural beauty, and are physically fit, this trek is worth exploring.
This trek is beautiful with nature, mountain view, local villages, multi cultural and language. You will experience walking along Modi river between big mountain, seeing different animal, flora & fauna. After reaching Annapurna Base camp you will see a huge Annapurna glacier, valley surrounded by many white mountain including Annapurna I, III, South, Fishtail etc.

Upper Mustang Trek is one of the most fascinating and hidden Buddhism kingdoms of the Mustang. Mustang was an ancient forbidden kingdom, bordered by the Tibetan Plateau and sheltered by some of the world’s tallest peaks, including tall Annapurna(8,901 m/ 26,545 ft) and Dhaulagiri(8,167 m/26,795 ft). Strict regulations for tourists here have aided in maintaining old traditions. Upper Mustang Trek was a restricted demilitarized area until 1992, which makes it one of the most preserved regions in the world due to its relative isolation from the outside world, with a majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetan languages. The name “Mustang” is derived from the Tibetan word meaning, “Plain of Aspiration” Upper Mustang trek was only opened to foreigners in 1992 and the region is a popular area for trekking and can be visited year-round (regardless of season).
