This private Day Excursion offers the chance to experience something of the Berber way of life as you walk through Berber villages and have lunch with a Berber family in their home. You walk along traditional mule tracks through small villages and admire the scenery of the Atlas mountains, including views up towards Toubkal. Typically 5 to 6 hours walking. Pick up is from your hotel in Marrakech around 9.00 for transfer to Imlil. We do not stop at stalls or shops unless, of course, you wish us to. Ouarzazate is one of the most popular Moroccan sites for filmmakers from around the world. one of the cinematographic assets of this place is the quality of the light, its popularity increases with the realization of Lawrence of Arabia in 1962, turned in particular on the site of Ait-Ben-Haddou, small village close to Ouarzazate having subsequently been listed as world heritage. Aït Ben Haddou is a Kasbah (fortified city) located 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate. Like Atlas studios, the Kasbah has been filmed dozens of times and appears in such great classics as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy and The Nile Diamond. Kasbah Taourirt is another fortified city around Ouarzazate. The construction was made of rammed earth, has two crenellated towers and is considered to be one of the best preserved kasbahs in Morocco

Ait Benhaddou is an interesting Day Trip from Marrakech after you cross the High Atlas Mountains, Ait Benhaddou is the UNESCO site classified since 1987 where few families are still living in Ait Benhaddou, along the way you will admire the Berber Villages in the Mountains of High Atlas Village. 4km of rocky off-road along the salty Valley of Ounila to get to Ait Benhadou Kasbah, a natural decoration for many movies which were shot in the area. Take a walk and cross the dried river with our English speaking driver/guide to dominate the the kasbahs of Ait Benhaddou. You will be invited for tea with one of the families.
