The drive to Meknes and Volubilis is fascinating. Upon our arrival to Volubilis, we will meet our local guide. He will show a great devotion in explaining most of the historical fact that surround these ruins. The UNESCO classifies it as a world heritage. These ruins date back to the 5th century BC where some of the original mosaics are very well preserved. This site persists through time to prove the glorious past of the Roman Empire in Morocco. This 3-day tour desert from Fez to Marrakech, Morocco, takes you through the Middle Atlas, Sahara Desert, Todra Gorge, Ouarzazate, and Ait ben Haddou, and ends in Marrakech. The first day of the tour begins with a pickup from your Fez accommodation, a drive through the Middle Atlas, and a stop at Ifrane and the Cedar Forest in Azrou. You will then go to Merzouga and spend the night in a Berber tent. On the second day, you will travel from Merzouga to Ouarzazate via the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, stopping at Todra Gorge. The last day of the tour is spent visiting Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
