Our driver will pick you from your hotel at 9:45 am and head toward Limuru Road where is about 30km from Nairobi to Kiambethu Tea Farm. You will arrive at 11am and you will be offered a cup of tea or coffee , the history of the farm and tea making is informally explained , followed by un opportunity to sea tea in the farm. Later you will take a walk in the indigenous forest with our resident Kenyan guide who will identify the plants and will explain how they are traditionally used .Look out for Colobus monkeys close up which is home for variety of birds and flowers.
Later return to the house to enjoy pre-lunch drink on the verandah with sweeping views across the tea field of Ngong Hills. Enjoy your three coarse buffet lunch from our set menu prepared from the garden and desserts are topped with cream from our herd of Channel Island cows.

For the half-day tour, after being picked up at your hotel early in the morning at 6 AM, head towards Nairobi National Park, arriving at around 6:30 AM. From there, take an exciting 4-hour game drive through the park. Stay on the lookout for many species of game animals, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, as well as countless species of wild birds. The park’s open border on its southeast perimeter allows a corridor for the natural migration of game animals during the seasonal rains. Situated at 7,200 ft., Kiambethu was bought and farmed by AB McDonell in 1910. He was the first person to grow, make and sell tea commercially in Kenya - now one of Kenya’s biggest exports. Five generations have lived on the farm and it is currently run by his granddaughter Fiona Vernon. The farm house is set within beautiful gardens surrounded by acres of tea and indigenous forest - home to the Colobus monkey and plenty of other wildlife.
Amboseli is set on the Kenyan plains with Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop in the distance, the park is world-famous for its substantial population of African Elephants which can be seen in herds of over 100 individuals. In particular the large bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in the animal kingdom. Also to be spotted are ample herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and impala, as well as giraffes and warthog. With all this variety you can be sure a healthy population of predators also call Amboseli home. Lions, leopards, caracals, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and serval cats are all frequently seen in the park.
