The activity is located in a quiet residential district just 4 minutes away by train from Shibuya Station in Tokyo. The house you'll enter has a dry garden and traditional interior, exuding the perfect ambience for tea ceremony and calligraphy experiences. At the start of the workshop you will don a jinbei (traditional light clothing) and will first practice grinding solid ink and basic brush strokes. When you're confident enough to write the Japanese kanji character of your choice, you will choose between applying calligraphy art on a kakejiku hanging scroll or a wooden plate in the shape of a votive tablet or a mini paddle for Japanese hanetsuki (a type of badminton game). Take the piece of art with you as a memory from the calligraphy workshop. The activity will continue with a tea ceremony in which the instructor will prepare matcha green tea in front of you using traditional tea utensils. You will learn the etiquette of drinking tea and will enjoy seasonal wagashi sweets.

The wholesale market was for retailers and restaurants, while the outer market was for general consumers. The wholesale market moved to Toyosu in 2018, but the outer market remained in Tsukiji. Today,it is bustling with visitors eager to enjoy fresh seafood,sweets, tea stuff and so on. The stores even offer free samples! This plan is for inbound travelers who want to visit Snow Monkey Park for one day trip, from/to Tokyo. It takes 3.5 hours one way, which means a big drive. Therefore the visiting spot is going to be just Snow Monkey Park, or at best adding one more location. Regarding Snow Monkey Park, guests need to buy entrance ticket. (adult:¥800/child:¥400). And here's another way to enjoy it. There is an onsen Inn which is called "Korakukan Inn" in site of the park. Guests can experience to take open air onsen bathing with snow monkeys.
