After a short historical introduction, you will chose the pixelated version of your image and you will start to make your mosaic by laying the genuine marble tiles, matching them to the corrisponding shades of gray. Over the course of the lesson, you will produce your own handmade mosaic portrait.. Many well-known Italian designers were involved in the creation of the 'Pixel Mosaics Kit'. It was awarded 'Best design of Lazio' in 2014, and was given a nomination by ADI-Association of Industrial Designers in Italy.
