The palace was started in the 15th century , It passed to the Pamphili family who enlarged it , until it became the most important inhabited palace in the city. It's larger than some European royal palaces, and still is the residence of the noble family . The sumptuous gallery contains an important collection of paintings and art objects, some of them are mastepieces such as Cravaggio, Hans Memling, Raphael, Titian , Jan Brueghel artworks.
