We will walk through the medieval streets of Florence discovering fantastic place. We will discover typical tiny Florentine streets and ancient tower-houses. We will enjoy the open museum that this city is! We will walk through the same streets where the Medici’s, and Michelangelo, Donatello, Machiavelli and Dante among others walked as well, how exciting! By the end of this tour you’ll have a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Florence, bringing the city to life right in front of your eyes.

Enjoy a private and authentic home-cooked meal with your host Simona in her Tuscan villa. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture over food. Your hosts are Simona and her mother, two Tuscan-born and raised Italians from Impruneta, a beautiful wine town located in the outskirts of Florence. They are kind and polite, and complement each other perfectly to provide the most traditional Tuscan experience. Simona, who speaks fluent English, will be your official host, while her mother, who does not speak English, is the official cook. They are both incredibly friendly and eager to share stories about their family, the food and the history of the area and their home. One of the most interesting things about the house is its history: the property has belonged to the host's family for many generations and the property's history is deeply tied to that of the town.

See the most important works of Michelangelo in Florence in one tour: Accademia Gallery and Medici Chapels. At the Accademia you will find his world-famous original David, the must-see for all admirers of Michelangelo. At the Medici Chapels you will see the New Sacristy with the figures of Day and Night, Dawn and Dusk and young Medici dukes. The tour might start at Accademia Gallery or Medici Chapels, depending on the ticket availability. Ticket prices are not included and should be booked in advance. Please note I am no longer able to book entry tickets for the museum on visitors' behalf. The museum now requires a non-refundable booking fee payable by credit card at the moment of reservation, with the cost of the ticket itself due at the time of the visit.
