The class is a Plein Air in a piazza next to the hotel, or on the river side. I'm a painter and art teacher and also a tourist guide. We will use acrylic or watercolor technique, because we can paint with acrylic as oil, or water color because it gives us enormous possibilities to spread our fantasy. We will use examples from art history to choose everybody's personal style. You will have the best souvenir from Florence, a small masterpiece painted by you. I'll teach you how to lay a colour base and how to shape the painting. Our aim is to understand how a painting was created in history and to try to quickly complete an art work. The painting experience will take place on Piazza di Santo Spirito , or another location depending on weather conditions.

No previous riding experience required. The day will start with a horseback ride, 30minutes of orientation ride in the ring will precede the 1h15-hour ride on horseback held on a spectacular country trail. A professional instructor will lead the guests in the knowledge of the basics of equitation and their equine companions according to the level of experience of each and for the total enjoyment of the ride. The relaxation around the pool for the rest of the day will complete the ride. For lunch -served under the veranda at 1.00pm.- the guests will taste local freshly-made pasta plate, a wide choice of cheeses, coldcuts, bruschettas, Chianti wine and water. Veg guests are also welcome. Sunbathing, relaxation, good food and a few swims will make the guests experience the Florence rolling hills immersed in nature for a whole day, away from the city crowd. At the end of the afternoon a visit to a local producer of olive oil and Chianti wine will be possible before returning to Florence.

This option is for wine lovers. With 45 minutes ride we’ll get to the Chianti area and meet one of our favourite winemaker. We’ll visit the winery, the vineyards, the cellar and then we’ll have a tasting and/or Tuscan lunch. Before leaving Florence we'll show a bit of Oltrarno area... The sidecar experience will give you the chance to take picture (and short movie!) on the most beautiful landscape in the world, the Chianti, and to taste some of the best expressions of Chianti Classico wines. Along the way we use to see Impruneta town with its amazing Buondelmonti square and stop along to way to the winery to admire some of the creations of the "terracotta" (clay) artisan. On the way back again Tuscan countryside landscape to ride through... Don’t worry, you can drink as much as you want, we’ll be driving!
