Drive to Maneybhanjang .The road to Manebhanjang follows the Hill Cart Road connecting Darjeeling with the plains. At Ghoom (The highest rail station in India) you leave the Hill Cart Road and it takes another hour from Ghoom to reach Manybhanjang. Trek Starts from Maneybhanjang in the morning. Trek to Tonglu through dense forests (3070 mt, 11 km). Reach Tonglu in the afternoon. Tonglu (3036 m ) is the one of the higher peaks of the Singalila Ridge and a small settlement inside the Singalila National Park in the Darjeeling subdivision, Darjeeling district in the state of West Bengal in India near the India - Nepal border. It is a roadside halt along the trekking route to Sandakphu.The trek ends at Tonglu or Tumling.Same way back and drive to Darjeeling from Maneybhanjyang(35 km).
