Trip information HRAUNFOSSAR, HVÍTÁ, BARNAFOSS, DEILDARTUNGUHVER, SNORRASTOFA AND SNORRALAUG Borgarfjörður, Meet your local guide at the hotel at 09:00. We will head towards Hraunfossar waterfalls where a series of waterfalls run over the side of the Hvítá river canyon from Barnafoss (Children fall). From there we will continue to the most powerful hot spring named Deildartunguhver t180 liters per second and the water is about about 97°celsius. After exploring Deildartunguhver it’s ideal to have a lunch break. After lunch we will visit Snorrastofa museum in Reykholt there we will view the exhibit of Snorri’s writings as well as seeing the modern church and Snorralaug which is the oldest man made construction and protected by the National Museum. On our way back will meet a local family that informs us about living in the country side and we get to see their beautiful horses. We will return back in Reykjavík about 5pm.

I will pick you up at your accommodation in Reykjavík, drive you to the stadium, sort out the tickets for us, and give you insight into Icelandic football during the match. If you have a special request for teams to watch, let me know and I will try to accommodate your request. The majority of the teams in the men's and women's premier leagues are located in the capital area. Bring your jacket, it's most often quite breezy at the stadium. Icelandic football is one of the few leagues in the world that are played during summer and you will get a unique insight into the football and sporting culture of Iceland during this tour.

Here we set out on a private tour from Reykjavík/ Keflavík airport area onto exploring the mesmerizing south coast of Iceland!
