Nowadays, this cultural and architectural gem is one of the most visited UNESCO sites in Czechia – with a wonderfully atmospheric town centre lined with fabulous Gothic buildings, evocative of its wealthy past. On arriving in Kutna Hora you will visit three UNESCO heritage sites beginning with the magnificent Gothic cathedral Church of St Barbara, the patron saint of miners. You will also visit a unique cemetery beneath the Church of All Saints: known as an Ossuary or bone crypt, the Sedlec Chapel is decorated with around 40,000 human bones. Afterwards, enjoy the medieval town as you wander down the cobbled streets towards the “Italian Court”. Finally, enjoy time for lunch before returning to Prague.
