The tour will start next to the presidents office and we will end by the GAM art center as we walk we will stop in different landmarks to explain current and past importance, some of this buildings/places are La Moneda Palace (presidents office) the ex congress, Plaza de Armas, Santa Lucia hill lookout, etc. This tour is for 10 people max, they can all be together or separate as this is not a private tour (unless you want it to be private we can talk) I have done this for over 14 years, i have a degree in tourism and also i went to school in the downtown area (i know the area extremely well) i also have a couple of extras courses on heritage and history. Located in front of the Pacific Ocean with beautiful views of the bay. It was the residential house that the poet Pablo Neruda co-designed and inhabited between 1939 and 1973. The visitor can get to know aspects of the life and work of the poet is a house museum. She's beautiful and magical. They pass you an audio that tells every story of the rooms. We leave very early (7:40 am) to arrive at 10:00 am as admission is on a first come, first served basis and is a very visited place by locals and schools. We drive along Highway 78 heading for the coast. The tour lasts about an hour then you can tour the bookstore enjoy the views and go down to the beach where on a rock there is a sculpture of the Poet. You can have lunch in the same museum or the village of Isla Negra (on behalf of the passengers) and tour the village and its crafts that the locals offer.
