We start the evening with a hotel pick up, before heading to the famous Angkor Wat for sunset (no pass needed!) drinks, and a charcuterie and cheese plate. We then head down the non-touristy Khmer street food road to sample local delicacies, tropical fruits, creepy crawlies (if you dare) and BBQ meats. Discover the rarely visited remains of the Sambor Prei Kuk complex and the ancient bridge at Spean Praptos. Sambor Prei Kuk was once the second capital of the Chenla Kingdom (late 6th to 9th century), then known as Isanapura. Sambor Prei Kuk is located amidst mature sub-tropical forests with limited undergrowth. Spean Praptos was once the longest corbeled stone-arch bridge in the world. The bridge was built in the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few Khmer empire era bridges to have survived to the modern day.

This late 12th – early 13th century Buddhist temple is located in the northwest corner of Cambodia's Banteay Meanchay province and only 20km from the Thai border. It is one of the largest temple-city complexes built by a Khmer king. The temple is in a bad state of preservation as no restoration efforts were conducted here in the 20th century. The layout resembles Angkor Thom and other structures attributed to Jayavarman VII. The outer gallery is carved with bas-relief depicting military engagements and daily life scenes very similar to the well known ones in Bayon.
