This unmissable experience begins in the “Bajo de las sombras” port, within the Los Glaciares National Park. There you will take a boat to cross the Brazo Rico, to the west coast. You will start the trail through the Patagonian-Magellanic Andean forest. After two hours of walking, you will arrive at the southern moraine of the Perito Moreno glacier, where you will access the ice. During the 3 and a half hours (approximately) of the tour, the guides will help you to better understand the ice and its environment: the origin of the glaciers and the characteristics of the area.

The journey begins in the private port of La Soledad, located 47 kilometers from El Calafate. From there, at 9:00 AM, you will set sail towards the North Channel of Lake Argentino. The ice floes, which some know triple the size and volume of our boat, will decorate the passage through the Upsala Channel, from where you can see the Upsala Glacier (the third largest glacier in the Southern Patagonian Ice) about 15 km away. . We will begin our day with a transfer from your accommodation in El Calafate to Los Glaciares National Park. Along Route 11, you'll see the Patagonian steppe with its unique flora and fauna, and the majestic Lake Argentino. Our expert guides will share the region’s history, ecology, and geology, unveiling its secrets. Upon entering the park, we’ll stop at the Mirador de los Suspiros for your first view of Brazo Rico and the imposing south face of Perito Moreno Glacier. We will explore the park’s 5-kilometer trail network, offering panoramic views that will leave you breathless. For an even closer look, an optional boat ride (if selected) takes you near the glacier’s towering walls, where you may witness its spectacular icefalls. After this unforgettable experience, we will return to El Calafate, filled with memories of one of the world’s most amazing natural treasures.

The tour begins at 06:00 hs., when the minibus picks you up at your accommodation in El Calafate. In this full day adventure through Chilean lands you will have as main attractions the Sarmiento de Gambia Lake Viewpoint, the Paine River Falls, the upper viewpoint of Almirante Nieto Hill / Cuernos del Paine, and the entrance to Laguna Amarga. The tour starts at 6:30 A.M. where you will be picked up at the Hotel. Then you will go to the border crossing "Cancha Carrera" through a gravel road to enter the Republic of Chile.
